Irene Redfield
My name is Irene. I grew up in Chicago but now I live in New York. I am a strong and dynamic black woman proud of who she is. My life helps define the Harlem Renaissance. My husband is a doctor and his main goal is to move myself and our two sons, Junior and Theodore, to Brazil. I don’t like that idea much, I am very comfortable with where we are and I don’t want to give up my life. You could say I am a bit of a socialite, and I think it’s important that black women are part of New York’s social fabric.
